Happy Mother's Day!

This was our first Mother's Day, and we were so excited!

Mommy and I had decided that there would be no gifts this year...only cards.  So you and I found a great idea online and set to work creating it.  Basically the idea was to create a "card book" so that every year you can create new pages for Mommy rather than buying cards every year. We had fun putting it together, even if you weren't such a fan of doing hand prints again!

We spent the day together and even got out and enjoyed the warm weather during an evening walk!

We were so thankful for the card we got from Aunt Enny and for the flowers you asked Uncle Marge to bring last night.  We are so lucky to have such wonderful people and helpers in our lives!

I am so grateful for your Mommy.  She has been such a wonderful Mommy to you - making you giggle uncontrollably, playing games with you, singing with you, and comforting you when nothing else works.  She is also able to get you to sleep in two minutes flat.  She has been such a support to me as well, and I am so lucky to be on this journey of parenthood with her.

Thank you for making us mamas, Sophie.  We love you to pieces and are so happy to have you in our lives.  We can't wait to celebrate many more Mother's Days with you.
