9 months!

9 months.  Although pregnancy isn’t really exactly 9 months, this seems like a milestone.

9 months in, 9 months out.

You now have more experience outside of me than you did in – which makes me a little sad – only because the time is going so quickly and you are growing up so fast!

This month was, once again, a busy one!  You stayed  busy with swimming,

Going to the park,

Helping moms with shopping

And opening your fan mail!

We also had a fall photo shoot for you!  You weren’t very happy to be dressed up, but you smiled long enough for moms to snap a few pictures!

You also go to see Uncle Marg which is always exciting,

And you got to spend some time at a new daycare because Nana was with her mom!  I think you liked being around the other kids, but were happy when Nana returned.

We were all still pretty sick this month, but you handled it like a champ and spent lots of extra time cuddling with moms!

New things this month – you discovered that there is such thing as “up!”  You spent a great deal of time seeing lights and sky and ceilings!  It’s kind of adorable!

You also have been working hard on mastering the art of “hanging out.”  I think Mommy’s been a bad influence on you!

You love to be outside

And love to catch a ride in laundry baskets!

You are really figuring out your rhythm and dance to almost any music that comes on (although this month you seem to prefer jazz!)

You love our phones and still take the occasional selfie!

You are still such a good sleeper – we have been so lucky to have a girl who loves her shut eye almost as much as her mamas!

You don’t really have a “favorite toy” this month.  You’ve pretty much abandoned Raf Raf.  You are discovering books, however, and this one, “That’s Not My Puppy!” seems to be your favorite!

We tried on your snowsuit this month.  You weren’t a fan.

You weren’t even a fan of wearing a jacket.

I have a feeling it’s going to be a long, long winter.

Happy 9-month birthday, darling!

We love you so much and love to watch you learn and grow!
