10 months!

10 months!

What an exciting month!

This month was a busy one what with TWO holidays and all!  We started out your tenth month with celebrating Halloween!  You were adorable and we had so much fun spending the day with Grandpa and Grandma Ricks!

You also helped us out again with shopping

And came with mom to some appointments!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with Michele and Heather!  You loved it!

This month you finally started holding your own bottle!  You could earlier but you just never did!  Now, as long as you’re not too tired, you hold it all the time.

You get into everything these days!  Nothing is off limits if it’s within reach!  You are always going for the important stuff like bills, checkbooks, and cords.

You are getting bored more easily with “baby” toys, so every now and then Mama opens up the ultra top secret new toy drawer in the kitchen and pulls out a few things to play with.  You love it.

You are pretty adept at walking with your walker these days.  It won’t be long now until you’re running around the house!

You and Ellie get along splendidly...as long as you don’t pull her tail or ears or hair!

You love bath time with Mommy (Mama has only given you two baths in your whole life!  You’d be one dirty baby without Mommy!)!  You still take baths in the sink but did try out the big tub this month – I think we’ll be switching soon!

You love your Johnny Jump Up!  It will be a sad day when you’re too big to jump all around and swing back and forth!

You continue to love everything “up!”  It’s like there’s a whole new dimension you didn’t know existed until last month.  You’re always checking to make sure it is still there.

You continue to love music and have definitely got rhythm!

Your favorite toy is a toss up between Giraffe from the zoo in Sioux Falls (thanks Aunt Ang!) or a stuffed monkey.

You are eating more and more “real” food with mamas at meals.  You tried pancakes for the first time this month and squealed with delight!

You were a great little model for Mama this month…

…until you were tired of it.

You continue to despise coats and winter gear of any sort,

But once it’s on you tend to calm down and put up with the torture.

We love you, baby girl, and are so lucky to have you in our family!  You brighten our lives and make us laugh every single day.
