You had your 18-month appointment at the doctor this month. You weighed in at 22 pounds, 4 oz and were 2 feet 7.25 inches tall. You handled your shots well and even left with a pile of goodies - including a book and a coupon for a free ice cream cone!!
We went to the zoo this month to hang out with some friends,
We went to the wading pool,
And to the Children's Museum,
You went to the Farmer's Market one morning with Mama and we had a picnic in the back of the car before heading home!
You went to story time at the library with Mommy,
And to the mall to play with Mama (you even met a new friend!)!
We went to the park as a family one evening. It was a little chilly, but we still had fun!
And we went to the mall together and rode on a little train they have. It's a ride that takes you around the upper level of the Roseville Mall. As with most new things, you were quite serious throughout the ride. We couldn't get you to crack a smile once - even though you loved it! When it ended and we got off you wanted to go again!
We also went swimming with friends at Lake Elmo! You loved it there - even if you were afraid of the water at first!
You got to spend some time with the Harris,'
And with Jenny (in the yard...in your diaper...)!
We also went to the neighborhood National Night Out. You loved saying hi to all the neighbors and even let the visiting police officer say hello!
We spent a lot of time outside again (it's going to be bad when winter arrives and we can't go out as much!) -
And you got into the yard action when Mama and Mommy were working on trimming the bushes and trees!
You love your toys, especially your stuffed bear,
But you also played a lot with building blocks and letters this month!
You love to dance and have really good rhythm. Your favorite song these days is Day-O and ask to listen to it constantly! You've discovered the fun of coloring and drawing and ask to "colo" all the time!
You love Ellie and like to be as close to her as you can,
And you love to talk to Elmo!
You are not always patient when we are trying to do your hair, but if we put on an episode of Daniel Tiger? You'll sit through just about anything!
You love to eat, especially when there is construction going on right outside and you get to watch all of the big trucks go by!
You love peas, especially when you get to eat them right out of the bag,
And you can't get enough watermelon...
