15 Months!

We had a great month!

You kept busy.  Aside from our early month Easter travels and celebrations, you went to the Children's Museum with the Harris',

Spent some quality time with Uncle Marge,

And showed some love to your daycare bud, Grant!

We even had a picnic outside on one warm day!

Now that the weather is warming up, you love being outside -

Especially if that means driving you car!

You like reading with Mama and Mommy,

And seem to particularly like any books that have nice, big pictures of trucks!

You love playing with your dolls and take such good care of them!

We got you a kitchen this month, and you have already spent lots of time getting it organized and whipping up yummy treats for your mamas.

You like bubbles and Barney, and you love to play with your laptop.  You sure have found some inventive places to play with it.

As for food, you love fruit and have become a huge fan of pineapple and plums this month.  You also love mashed potatoes, peanut butter sandwiches,

Drinking milk out of a "big kid" cup,

Devouring hummus as fast as Mama can scoop it out,

And you still adore your bedtime bottles (will we ever get you off of them?)!

You hate getting dirty.  You can go from a giggling to losing it in two seconds flat if you get dirt, sand, or food bits on your hands.  It's a little adorable.  As is the fact that you have decided that you love picking your nose...which I don't completely get, but whatever.

Well, Sophie, another month has come and gone.  I think we're all looking forward to the warmer weather when we can spend more time outside.

You are beautiful, and you make us smile every single day.

Lots of love, darling.

Happy Easter!

This year we celebrated Easter a couple of times!  We first celebrated at home with the Easter Bunny visiting.

You were so excited when you saw all of your goodies!

We couldn't resist trying on the bunny ears again this year.  They were so big on you last year!  You've grown into them well!

After celebrating at home we headed to South Dakota for the actual Easter weekend.  One of the highlights of the trip was going to the Children's Museum with Mommy, Mama, Aunt Ang, and Noah!

You had a blast exploring all the fun galleries there.

We also returned to the mall in Sioux Falls to see the Easter Bunny again.

You weren't so sure about the big furry guy, but you did love walking around the mall!

It was a great time catching up with family and cousins,

As well as getting all dressed up!  The Easter Bunny also visited you a second time - bringing you a basket with a stuffed bunny, a book, and other fun things!

You handle the long drive pretty well.  Usually it starts out like this...

Turns into this...

And ends with this...

Happy Easter!
